Guide to the Detailed Financial Transactions Report
This view of your account shows every transaction, starting with the most recent session.
Transactions are grouped according to general categories, such as academic fees, incidental fees, residence fees.
Within a session and within a grouping, transactions are displayed starting with the most recent transaction.
Payments & Credits are distributed to each charge according to the algorithm of ‘oldest session first, oldest charge in the oldest session first’.
Amounts written as 456.78 are ‘debit’ amounts.
Amounts written as 456.78C are ‘credit’ amounts.
What you see on your account:
- Process Date
- the date the transaction was posted to your account
- Transaction Description
- a brief description of the item
- Transaction Amount
- the dollar amount of the original charge or payment/credit
- Outstanding Balance
- the current balance for a specific item
- Invoice
- the number of the invoice on which the transaction appeared.
